2008 marked the ALR 172 third annual trip to Veterans on the Lake. The overnight stay at the resort includes taking a pontoon out on Lake Fall, a wonderful cafeteria style dinner on Saturday evening and breakfast on Sunday morning, and sitting around the fire visiting with each other during the evening hours. This year the ALR from Deer River also stayed over at the resort. The run has coincided with an outdoor blues concert held each year around the other side of the bay in Wintop which some ALR like to attend.
